Perodua Bezza 5th Service - 24 Months/40,000km

Done the 5th service for the Perodua Bezza 1.3 Advance about 3 weeks ago. It is a considered a major service says the Perodua rep. Mine was completed in 1 hour 45 minutes, which is faster than I had expected. Skipped the auto-transmission fluid change since it was replaced on my previous service. The mechanics will need more time if it includes auto-transmission fluid servicing. I went ahead with some optional items which is the windshield washer, injector cleaner and battery terminal protector. The rest of the items are the usual; engine oil, gasket, oil filter, cabin filter. I was told that the better air filter replacement  will cost more than double, so I chose the Pro-Ganti air filter instead. ProGanti Perodua Bezza Air Filter box.    The old and better Air Filter as claimed by the Perodua Rep.

Smartphone mount for Perodua Bezza - U-Green CD-slot mount

I have been using the U-Green CD-slot phone car mount holder for about 2 weeks. Here's my 2 cents view. The U-Green smartphone mount is cheap, sleek and a small-sized smartphone mount. It's not the best out there and comes with some drawbacks, but it's cheap and well-built. The smartphone does wobble when the car is going over harsh and bumpy roads. The biggest problem is the mount can slip out of the CD-slot when I try to mount my phone. A little diy Here's an easy DIY that will solve those two issues, wobbling and slippage ( out of the cd-slot). Since I don't use the CD function, I used a acrylic double-sided tape on the rear side of the mount. Now, the wobble on the mounted smartphone is hardly noticeable. It is better to use a good acrylic double-sided tape with high heat resistance. Good ones will last a long time and secures it well. And can be taken off without much effort leaving little residue on most surfaces.

Perodua Bezza 4th Service - 18 Months/30,000km

Six months is up and the Perodua Bezza Advance got it's fourth service just last week. Changed the engine oil, oil filter and gasket as usual. Optionally, I went for a transmission fluid change and a new cabin filter. Perodua Bezza transmission fluid The manufacturer's recommendedation for transmission fluid change is at 40,000km. But I was not comfortable on how the transmission responded lately, so I chose to do it earlier. After that fluid change, the transmission feels so much smoother. My cabin filter was quite dirty because I wind down my car windows alot, so I've opted for a new one.

Perodua Bezza Smart entry key - Battery Replacement

If you need to press the smart entry button for a few times to unlock or lock your car door, there is a good chance that the smart entry key battery is weak. I just replaced mine yesterday and the  smart key is as responsive when I got it new. Use a flat-head  screwdriver and position it in the little notch and pry open the cover. Original Panasonic CR2032 battery.  New CR2032 battery.   New battery fitted in.

Perodua Bezza 3rd Service - 12 months/20000 km

Replacing windscreen wiper on the Perodua Bezza

The quality of the stock windscreen wipers of the Bezza is below average. The stock wiper is noisy and already has water streaks when it's wiping after 5 months. Windscreen and wipers are cleaned often and car rarely parked under the sun. Stock Perodua Bezza wiper. So, I decided it's time to replace it with a cheap set of Bosch Advantage wiper. Perodua Bezza wiper, 21" and 14" in length.  Graphite coating for better durability and less noise. Installation instructions. How to install.  Installation done.
