Perodua Bezza

The new Bezza 2017 is a product improvement instead of a facelift according to Perodua. Improvements Some of the changes/improvements are rear skirting garnish, instrument panel treatment (side register bezel,center register bezel, steering bezel, AT bezel, arm rest, air cond knob, center cluster), carpet mat extension ( combined center rear mat with right and left mat into 1 piece), dash insulator, suspension (absorber/spring change), new leather seat design. Rear skirting garnish It's obvious that the rear skirting garnish is to hide the spare tyre well that is located below the boot. All 1.3L variant owners with Gearup bodykit have an option to install the garnish for about RM200. There is no information whether owners without Gearup bodykit can add the extra extension/garnish for just RM200. Diffuser-like rear bumper extension. All these changes will be introduced only on all 1.3L variant, except for leather seat ( available only on 1.3L Advance).

Just sent my Perodua Bezza Advance for it's second service a few days ago. It costs about RM185 including battery protector. Parts also include engine oil, engine oil filter and gasket.

Just got this Perodua Bezza armrest online for RM115. Build quality is not bad and only time will tell how long the artificial leather will last. The color matches the existing leather seats on the Bezza so that's nice. The armrest covers over the USB charging port behind the handbrake. I won't be able to use the USB port unless I make a hole and mod it in a way that USB could be used, and probably add a handphone holder on the side of armrest. The Perodua Bezza's headlight uses a H11 55W bulb for it's low beam and a HB3 60W bulb for it's high beam. It is always a good idea to use the specified wattage rating bulbs if you are going to fit aftermarket bulbs. The fog lights on the Perodua Bezza uses the same H11 55W bulb. Price range for the H11 and HB3 seems to be on the high side compared to a H4 or H7 for example

Got a bottle of radiator coolant and so-called battery insulator on my recent visit to Perodua Service Centre. Perodua Bezza radiator coolant premix(0.5 litre). Liquid is red in color. Battery insulator - a type of green liquid coating on the battery terminals.

My Perodua Bezza Advance was due for it's first service, so I had to drive to the service center. Made an appointment the day before. It was a good experience at the service center, as the staffs were friendly and efficient. Wait time for the free inspection was slightly under an hour and the car was ready. The staff recommended a battery terminal protector and windshield washer, it didn't cost much so I just ahead with it. Since I was at the service center, I bought a bottle of radiator coolant as well so that I can mix and top up the coolant at home. A bottle of radiator coolant(0.5L) for the Perodua Bezza cost RM13.90. I was told the next service which requires engine oil change will cost about RM190. Somehow they recommended an auto transmission fluid change on the 10000km mileage as well. The total bill will be RM290 if I agree to ATF change. Labor charge is free for the first three service.
